My name is Darcy Jo Gaugler and I am a writer. I have written freelance for the past 7 years, focusing on art, travel, and more. Although I reside in Chandler, Arizona, I frequently depart the desert to explore the entire world. My motto is: No Adventure Left Behind. 

Born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota, I left the cold prairie at age 18 to attend college in Arizona. I graduated with a degree in creative writing. Since then, I have published stories in countless local and national magazines including Arizona Foothills, AZ 3Sixty, AZ Business, Labelhorde, and many more. Although I am blessed enough to be 100% freelance now, my time at a desk over the years includes: interning at an art magazine, editor associate at the local university, and features editor at a prominent luxury lifestyle magazine.
